For Love of Children was featured on the Wednesday, February 9th "Harris' Heroes" 5 o'clock hour on WJLATV ABC 7. The segment was hosted by news anchor Leon Harris, a former FLOC board member, and showcased FLOC's work in the DC community.
The piece featured Tiera King, a FLOC graduate and current employee, working with high school students during Scholars night. Students were in the process of researching colleges and financial aid opportunities, just one of the many activities they take part in weekly at FLOC.
