FLOC’s services are provided for free to students from low-income families in the District of Columbia (all programs) and West Virginia (Outdoor Education Center and West Virginia Leaders in Action only).
This page provides everything you need to get started on enrolling a child in grades 1-12 in one of our programs. It only takes a few minutes and could literally transform the future of a deserving child or youth!
Step 1: Please click on the link below and complete a student application for the 2011-2012 school year. You also will be required to submit a copy of your student’s most recent report card and standardized test scores.
Step 2: All applicants, new and returning, and a parent or guardian must attend an orientation session. During these sessions, each student will take a pre-test to gauge his or her grade-level competency. Meanwhile, parents will learn more about FLOC’s programs and policies and complete necessary paperwork. After you submit an application (Step 1), you will be contacted to sign up for an orientation session.
